1 We welcomed 27 members to the meeting and it was especially good to see Ian and Jayne Hall-Edwards all the way from Carmarthen and past members Adam and Janice Griffiths.

3 A presentation of our £500.00 donation was made to Blood Bikes Wales and received with very grateful thanks by Jason Hall. He also received another £100.00 cheque from representatives of The Friends of Bishton who had received donations on their Santa Run, which had been supported by the Region.

5 The South Wales Wings Leaflets for new Goldwing owners are still available from Barry.
6 Our Dinner is now on Saturday 19 March, 2022 (not Sunday 20) at The Glascoed Pub 1830 for 1900. Meal choices have now been collected and submitted to the Pub.
7 The South Wales Wing Ding is from 12 to 17 July 2022 at The Glascoed Pub. We are still looking for things for our goody bag and donations. We give special thanks to Ann Perry, Roger’s neighbour, for buying pens for our Goodie Bag.
8 Remember to order your bespoke Baseball Caps from Roger at £8.00 each.
9 The GWOCGB Membership Renewal was due on 1 January, 2022 so if you have not joined you are overdue. Thank you to those who have renewed. For those who have not, Forms are on line or from Barry.
10 Malcolm gave a detailed report on the GWOCGB Open Meeting that had taken place at Coventry on 25 February, 2022. 43 GWOCGB members had attended.
11 The 2022 GWOCGB Help Guide is now available on GWOCGB Web Site
12 The collection was made for a charity from GWOCGB members in memory of Stuart Feeny of Appleyards who died recently. The collection, for the Parkinson’s disease Charity, had raised in total £500. Thanks had been received from the family.
13 Barry reported that GWEF had in agreement with Goldwing Ukraine, temporarily suspended GWEF membership to Goldwing Russia and Goldwing Belarus.
14 The International Classic Motorcycle Show will take place on Saturday/Sunday 23/24 April 2022 at the Stafford County Showground. Tickets now on sale (it is the same weekend as the GWOCGB NC/AGM).
15 We had received an invitation to show our Wings by Dinas Powys Rotary at their Vale of Glamorgan Classic Car Show at Sully on SUNDAY 29 May, 2022 from 1000 to 1700. Names were taken and forms will be submitted to the organisers.
16 Also had received an invitation to show our Wings at Porthcawl Lions Vintage Fair on Saturday 6 August, 2022 from 1200 to 1700. At Porthcawl Rugby Club. Names will be collected later in the year.
17 Barry reported that the Disaster Emergency Committee Humanitarian Appeal was looking for funds for Ukraine. It was decided that the Region would not donate as many members had already donated to various Ukrainian appeals personally.

20 AOB:
a. Malcolm had received a text from Andrew Bennett to say that his recovery from his numerous ailments was very slow. We all wished him well.
b. Malcolm invited everyone to his 70th birthday party which was taking place on Saturday 26 March, 2022 at Tynant Club, 2DY, Croescade Road, Llantwit Fardre, Pontypridd from 1900. It is a dressing up party and you can choose your costume (but it is not compulsory).
c. Roger advised that he has access to a Recovery Vehicle should you breakdown on your Wing. Cost is reasonable. Please ring Roger for details (07974100532).
d. Lester is going to arrange some Run Outs as the weather starts to improve so please check your texts.
